This is an oriental spice mixture, originally Lebanese. And, of course, each family has its own mixture.
2 tablespoons coriander, rubbed
2 tbsp cumin, ground
2 tsp. paprika, sweet
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric, ground
1 tsp. cinnamon, ground
1 tsp ginger, ground
1 tsp. cumin, ground
1 pinch black pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper
Mix everything together well and good to go.
