Hagrid's rock cakes

My version of Hagrid's rock cakes - with activated charcoal (alternatively black food coloring) - so that they also look like rocks. The cookies are not very sweet. If. you like it sweeter, take more sugar

Hagrid's Rock Cakes - supersoft

For 16-18 cookies

50g raisins
30g amaretto (alternatively water or rum)
50g ground almonds
220g flour 405
50g sugar
1 pinch salt
1g baking soda
2 eggs (S)
80g butter
1-2 charcoal tablets

Soak the raisins in amaretto or rum and let them steep for 30 minutes or longer. For the non-alcoholic version, use water and add an alcohol-free aroma like vanilla, rum or amaretto.

Crush the charcoal tablet(s) to a fine powder. If you use food coloring, add it directly to the dough. Knead the flour, sugar, almonds, salt, egg, butter and preserved raisins with the broth, add the charcoal. Chill the dough for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection oven).

Place a silicone baking mat or baking paper on a baking sheet. Form 16-18 uneven heaps - Hagrid would certainly not make them smaller. Bake the cookies for approx. 10 - 15 min.
