Red wine salt

Red wine leftovers - ok - rarely happens, but if you have some, then make a delicious salt out of it. Looks cool, such a pink salt and tastes great. You can also use it for salt butter.

Rotweinsalt

100g coarse sea salt
leftover red wine

Put the salt in a shallow bowl and wet it with so much red wine until all the salt is coated. Let the salt brew for a while and after 20 minutes pour the salt through a sieve.

Spread the salt on baking paper, preheat the oven to 160 degrees and let it dry with the oven door slightly open (cooking spoon is your friend) for about 3 hours.

Grind the salt finely in a blender or food processor and use it as you like.
