Starbucks™ Java chip Chocolate Cream Frappuccino

This is quite a bomber as far as calories go. But sometimes it just has to be.

For 1 serving

65g espresso (liquid, boiled and cooled) 300g ice cubes 125g milk 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup, dark 2 tablespoons chocolate chips or chocolate drops (e.g. RUF)

whipped cream and chocolate syrup to taste as topping

Chop the chocolate chips briefly in a food chopper. If you don't have a chopper or food processor, put the drops in a freezer bag and hit them a few times with a rolling pin.

Add all other ingredients to stand mixer/blender and blend. Taste.

Pour into a tall cocktail glass and stir in the broken chocolate drops. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate candied syrup.

I added all the ingredients, including the chocolate drops, to the blender the first time I tried this, which resulted in the chocolate chips remaining in the blender and spreading around the blade. You don't want that, so you should blend the chocolate in separately....

Makes a large glass.
