350g bulgur (coarse or fine) 1 onion 2 cloves of garlic 400ml strained tomatoes or chopped tomatoes 1 tablespoon tomato paste,1 tablespoon chili paste or - if you don't like it so spicy - 2 tablespoons tomato-paprika paste 50g olive oil 50ml water salt, bell pepper, oregano, thyme, sweet paprika, chili flakes to taste
Fresh ingredients
1 small bunch of mint 1 small bunch of parsley 2 spring onions 2-3 green pointed peppers tomatoes 1/2 red red bell pepper
Dressing
1/2 lemon juice only olive oil salt, pepper
Topping
Pomegranate syrup (optional)
Saute onions and garlic in olive oil. Sauté bell bell pepper and chili paste in it and add the spices. Now add the chopped or pureed tomatoes.
