Alcohol freezing point

If you want to freeze alcohol for desserts or chocolates, here's some info on how to freeze alcohol to make praline fillings or shots.

Alcohol over 34% volume you can not freeze yourself.

Beer: -3 degrees Wine, sparkling wine: - 5 degrees Liqueur: with 23% and high water content - freezes the water, but not the spirit. Liqueur: with 23% and low water content (eggnog or similar) -10 degrees

Rule of thumb:

Volume % alcohol : 2 = freezing point in - C°. So 40% alcohol freezes at about -20 degrees.

It does not help to stretch the alcohol with water, it does not work.
